The Vice Chairman of the Maritime Association, Greg Heard, delivered during two back-to-back sessions at the SC Department of Education’s 34th Annual Education + Business Summit, the premier and largest Career and Technical Education (CTE) conference in the state in June.

Conference attendance reached nearly 1,300 school educators and staff.

Greg, COO of MainOcean, provided a range of career stories, including his own.  The audience was engaged, asked questions, and discussed opportunities to introduce their students to the maritime and logistics fields.  Attendees included CTE District Directors, CTE Career Center Directors, Career Specialists, and instructors.
