SECTOR CHARLESTON | PORT CONDITION ZULU

Effective 0800, 4 Sep 2019, the Coast Guard Captain of the Port (COTP) Charleston has set Port Condition ZULU due to the expected arrival of tropical storm force winds of 39 mph from Hurricane DORIAN within 12 hours. The port is closed to all vessel traffic unless specifically authorized by the COTP. Cargo operations are suspended, including bunkering and lightering, unless a waiver is granted by the COTP. We will continue to evaluate updated weather models to determine when it safe to lift the above restrictions.
